Brent’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of business, trust and estate planning, trust and probate administration, elder law, and immigration law. Brent first opened his own practice in Mesa in 1996. Before that, Brent was the partner in charge of the estate planning and business immigration practice areas at Brown & Bain, P.A. (now Perkins Coie) in Phoenix.
Brent has Martindale Hubbell’s highest rating of AV and is included in Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Law. He earned his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law where he was the case note and comment editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law.
Brent has a long-standing involvement in both professional and community organizations. He is currently a member of Wealth Counsel (a national collaborative organization of business and estate planning attorneys), Elder Counsel (a national collaborative organization of elder law attorneys), the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), STEP (a worldwide professional association of trust and estates specialists advising families across generations), the East Valley Estate Planning Council, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Brent is a member of the Arizona Community Foundation’s Professional Advisory Board and previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Maricopa County Bar Foundation. He has also been very active in a variety of capacities with the Boy Scouts of America and as the coach of several youth sports teams.
